Well, the Olympics are over and I didn't finish both socks on time.  I was into the foot of the second sock when I realized there was a noticeable discrepancy in leg length on the second sock, so I ripped back to the end of the leg.  This was during the Closing Ceremonies, so that shot my chances of getting a gold medal.  I think silver is good for me, though, considering I had three sick children for all but two days of the Olympics. A link to the pattern I used is below.  Mom liked them--they were for her birthday, hence the name.  My mom is Charlotte!
