*Why do you think Giovanni is so good?
-------Isn't it obvious?
*Will he be the next F1 world champion?
-------He has as much of a chance as the other non-Williams drivers!

LFC Manager,

Please see the above applcation for membership in the prestigous Lavaggi Fan Club. I MUST be a Charter Member as I anticipate a victory in Japan and wouldn't want to seem like I was jumping on the bandwagon. Plus, the price is reasonable!

*Why do you think Giovanni is so good?
*Cause he's cute! He also has determination!

*Will he be the next F1 world champion?
*Probably not, unless looks count! But I will root for him, big time. That's saying a lot since I also root for JV!

*Why do you think Giovanni is so good?
Because I heard that he was able to teach his dog to roll over in under an hour.

*Will he be the next F1 world champion?
Yeah, because, ya see, it's like this.....At the last race this year, Michael Schumacher's gonna get jealous of Damon Hill joining the Footwork instead of him...so Schumi's gonna ask Damon over for a couple of drinks to celebrate and then he'll get Damon so drunk (Germans are good at that) that Damon's not even qualify for the last race. Footwork will be so disappointed, that they'll immeadiately call a press conference after Suzuka and announce that Damon is a joke, and when Damon goes to Stewart begging for a ride, Jackie will laugh in his face and offer him a drink. Then Damon is forced to go for an IRL ride for team Scandia. (They'll hire anybody) Then JV sees this unprecedented move to Scandia and immediately goes and joins his buddy in IRL. Meanwhile, Jackie Stewart announces his long awaited drivers for 1997 as GIOVANNI LAVAGGI and Giovanni's dog in the second car. Upon being asked, Jackie replies "well, it took the dog under a month to learn how to roll over, and any dog with that kind of talent deserves to be in my racecar. And as far as Giovanni, if he can teach a dog to roll over in under a month, why then I suppose he can tame my racecar in no time." Honda immediately adds its new engines to the program, and although they're not as fast as the rest, they go the entire year without one mechanical problem, while the rest of the Formula 1 drivers keep crashing every week. (Rumors are heard that Schumi's going around buying Bitburgers for the drivers before every race) Hence, Ginvanni Lavaggi narrowly beats his dog for the 1997 Formula 1 championship.

*Why do you think Giovanni is so good?
Why? 2 reasons: 1. Nobody can negotiate a chicane better. 2. Favorite Drink: Tonic water...if that isn't a sign of a World Champion, I don't know what is.

*Will he be the next F1 world champion?
I think this year will be a learning experience, but after that I see consecutive World Championships without a doubt. That is unless pupo moreno goes to F1.

*Do you have a preferred Lavaggi Fan Club member number?
Number 58 in honor of his year of birth, or whatever number is next in order!

Lavaggi Fan #17

Subject: Lavaggi the Great
Why is Lavaggi so good:
His win at Daytona in 1995 shows how good of a driver he is.

Will he be the next F1 Champ: YES!!!

Why do you think lavaggi is so good:
He is the most famous backmarker in F1, in my opinion he is a better backmarker than Hiro.

will he be the next F1 champ:
After Damon, Schumacher, and JV defect to the IRL next year, Lavaggi will conqure F1, setting several records in the process.

*Why do you think Giovanni is so good?
I understand that he worked for years at the carwash, so he really knows his cars! Also, hot carnuba wax when applied to the hair of an Italian causes him to be able to slice through the air with minimal wind resistance thus helping him to be able to stay right up with the backmarkers.. What a pastafarian!!

*Will he be the next F1 world champion?
No, I think not the next one.. I think not the next one either... Maybe the next one.... Naw,, not that one..... Well, maybe if we could figger out a way to make pigs fly then he might......Naw....... If he drove a Fiat instead of the Minardi he would have a better chance.. Maybe more garlic in his marinara... Maybe a few pointers from Katayama might help him... Then again, maybe not!!
