What: Fiber 2010, an exhibition of contemporary fiber art

 

Where: Brandstater Gallery, La Sierra University, 4500 Riverwalk Parkway, Riverside, CA 92515

 

When: February 15 – March 9, 2010

 

Submission deadline: postmark August 31, 2009

 

We are currently seeking submissions of recent artwork for an exhibition that reflects what is happening in fiber art today. All types of fiber art are welcome.

 

There is no fee for entry. There is no size limit, but the work should be able to be shipped via a standard shipper (USPS, UPS, FED EX), and fit through a standard door.

 

To submit: Please send jpeg images of recent work (completed within the last three years) on a CD. There is not limit on the number of pieces, just be reasonable. Detail shots are welcome. CD’s will not be returned.

 

Format: 300 dpi images, at least 1500 pixels on the shortest side, file size should not exceed 3M. please be sure your images can open on a computer running Windows operating system.

 

Please include on the CD in Word documents: Artist Statement and Bio as well as an image list with title, size, year completed, and description of each piece (medium, materials or technique). Please include printed copies of the Word documents.

 

Artist will pay for shipping and return shipping. Shipped artwork must be packed in sturdy reusable containers with pre-paid return shipping label included. Artists are responsible for insurance during shipping. Dates and times for hand delivery of work will be arranged.
