Designing Weavers
is a nationally recognized juried fiber guild known for the diverse range of work produced by its members. The group believes in motivation and encouraging excellence.
The goals of Designing Weavers are to promote all fiber arts, to develop and share ideas and to provide inspiration for all.
Every year Designing Weavers selects a theme for an annual project and each member produces
a piece of fiber art for exhibition.
Color was
the theme for 2008-9.

The Circus
was the annual project theme for 2007-8.
My piece addresses animal abuse issues that are hidden behind
the image of wholesome family fun as promoted by circus operators.
