Hey President Obama, we are still waiting for you to put some cats on your CAT-tinet and I want to be sure that you know that I am volunteering. It would be hard to leave my friends and JJ and come to live in Washington but I will be glad to do it if you need me.

Everyone else... do ya'll really think President Obama is going to put some cats in the White House? We have heard there is a plan for a DOG at the White House but we have not heard that there will be any cats :-(... but, even if no cats are put in the CAT-tinet, we are still sooooooo glad that Obama is our president now!! We were not too fond of what's his name, you know, the guy that was in there before... Cheney or something like that.

We are glad spring is here and sometimes the windows are open and we get to lie in them and feel the nice breezes and smell all of the little varmints that are running around outside. Yesterday, Achilles got outside!!! He is not supposed to do that! JJ was looking out and happened to see him in the neighbor's back yard. When she went to get him, his tail puffed out and he ran as fast as he could to the back door. JJ said she does not even know how he got out. He would sure be scared if he got out there and couldn't get back in!

I guess ya'll know what spring brings at our house -- the rosso bicicletta starts staying upstairs again instead of the basement. JJ says it is just too much trouble to keep putting it down there when she is riding it so much. Yesterday was the first Peaceniks' team ride and there will be MANY more to come! JJ loves that bicycle... almost as much as she loves us!!

On Saturday, JJ was sitting on the couch with me and we heard this YOWLing from the kitchen. JJ said "uh-oh" and took off in there because she thought Queenie and somebody had finally gotten into it. You know what it was? Melody had been chasing her tail and she got her claw stuck in her own tail!! That Melody is so kooky... JJ says if she was a human she would be called an airhead. We mostly call her a gritch... or something that rhymes with that!
