JJ is going all over the house with the loud, scary machine that she calls a vacuum. We heard her tell M that this one is much better than the last one. Wonder if that means it spreads the cat hair out in a more even pattern?

She is also doing things that are changing the smells. Our beds and the places we like to sleep are smelling all human-y instead of like us! But, it won't take us long to get them back right again. Whatever she is doing, we don't think she likes it very much.

The other day, JJ came in and showed something to M. She said "I am tired of having all of these kitty prints on the counter! I think this will stop the cats from getting up here." Well, we know we're not supposed to be up there but we only do it when she isn't around so what is the problem? I guess if we could stop leaving footprints we would get off scot-free, huh? JJ says if we are leaving footprints, who knows what is on our little kitty feet. Why, we clean them all of the time!! Our feet are very clean!

Anyway, she shows Mike this round, hard thing that looks kind of like the cans that human food comes in. Later, after she went to bed, Melody got up there and looked at it. Then, she got Jinx up there and Jinx almost NEVER goes on the counter because of her fat little belly. But, Mellie wanted Jinx to look at it because she can read some of the human markings. Jinx said she saw his "SSS..." and then some letters she didn't understand. We have checked this out a few times and, so far, we can't see what about it would make us get off the counter. Oh well, maybe if we clean our feet better JJ will never know.

So, I have to go back to putting my smell back on stuff. At least she hasn't done "our" room yet!!

Tita

But we don't mean us. She's REALLY cleaning house which, believe me, is a rarity. JJ is busy and she just doesn't have TIME to fool with things that aren't IMPORTANT like US!!

JJ says Amelie's new people have written and she is starting to come out from under the bed and is getting used to the other girl kitty, Princess. JJ won't admit it but she misses Amelie, Nikita and Max a LOT. Hey --- we say --- what are we? Chopped liver? Come to think of it, I wouldn't mind having some chopped liver...

My newest favorite toy is the new shower curtain. It smells all funny and after JJ uses it these things run all up and down and I get really excited. I have only fell in the bathtub once, well, o.k. 2 times. But that's it!! JJ was a little upset when she found teethmarks in it after the first day, but what can I say? It is just more than I can resist!!

Oregano

Well, Max got to Minniesoder and he likes it!! He really likes Anne, his new mom, and AJ, his new brother. He is even liking the dogs. Want to know how I know? Cuz cats are telepathic silly!! Want to know how I know how to spell telepathic but not Minniesoder? Well, that's why cats are mysterious. HA!

We've heard from Nikita too. She is still a little scared but she likes her new parents a lot. They are very kind and gentle and she loves them more each day! Alex, the other cat, chases her and she pretends she doesn't like it -- but she does -- you know us girls!!

And AMELIE got adopted, too!!! A man saw her cute picture on the internet and fell in love with her!!! He and his wife came to our house two nights ago and "whoosh" Amelie was gone. They were really nice people, too -- of course, JJ wouldn't let us go with anyone bad. We're still waiting on a "thought wave" message from Amelie.

So, it is pretty quiet around here. Tita and Oregano and Melody and me, Spooky and Lucky. Lucky is still being obstinate but he is looking inside more and more. JJ is able to spend more time with ME now and I like that. We have all been getting brushed a lot.

Well, I guess it isn't too quiet -- with Oregano around, it will never be TOO quiet!! She is in JJ's bathroom right now playing in the new shower curtain. Hey, 'yo, Oregano -- don't use your claws!!

Jinx

Tomorrow JJ and Max are going in an airplane which is like a giant travelling box that goes in the sky! JJ is worried that Max will be scared but he says he won't be as long as JJ stays with him. He doesn't want to see all of the people at the flying place but JJ says he will have to get out of his carrier or they will X-RAY him to see if he has swallowed any bombs!! I know that he swallowed a piece of the wallpaper that Melody chewed off behind the refrigerator but I don't think he has swallowed any bombs.

Max is going to have to wear a JACKET -- what is up with that? Is he getting dressed up? What? Oh, Melody says Max has to wear the jacket so he doesn't run away if he gets scared. That makes more sense.

We are going to try not to keep JJ up all night tonight because she has a "long day" tomorrow and a "long weekend" and a "long flight" at least tat is what JJ keeps saying.

Well, dang, Melody is up here trying to help me typppppppe and she keeps getttting in the way so I better say BYE!!

Oregano

Oh my gosh!! Nikita actually got adopted! The other night, these two people came to our house. At first we were scared because they had one of the travelling boxes (except Mellie, who got INTO the box and took a nap), but they sat down and were talking to JJ and we could tell she liked them so we started creeping around. They were really, really nice and they talked to us nice but weren't too pushy, just letting us come and rub their hands and stuff.

Still we were pretty wary and then JJ played sort of a dirty trick on us. She got out the CHICKEN BABY FOOD!! She knows that we can't resist that stuff -- it is like kitty drugs, the next best thing to catnip, ahh, the taste is heaven!!!! Well, we went up and started all trying to lick out of that little jar and <boom> JJ grabbed Nikita. She was looking around saying "oh no, what's up here, oh no" and we said to her "just trust JJ, everything will be o.k." and JJ put her in the people's travelling box and then all the humans hugged and talked nice and then Nikita was gone!!!

We miss her but JJ says she went to a great place and that the people have another cat named Alex that really wants a friend. JJ says they wrote her and said Nikita was shy but that she was starting to make friends. We hope Nikita isn't too scared, but, if she is, she won't be that way long.

JJ is REALLY excited about what a good home Nikita has gone too, especially because Nikita got adopted before and the people didn't like her because she cried too much. Nikita told us about that time. She said that when the people took her out of the travelling box, she was in this HUGE place and she didn't recognize anything and she thought, maybe, if she kept looking, she would find one of us or JJ. The people put her on a bed but it was in the open and she didn't have a nice dark place to hide where she felt safe. She said the people were nice but the place they lived was just too big and scary and there were no other cats or good smells there.

Well, JJ said that someone has asked about ME!! She said that the lady asked about maybe two cats so what if I got to be adopted with Tita or Oregano or Melody??? OMG!! Wouldn't that be lovely???
