Well, wouldn't you know? Beignet has got a forever home!! She went to the adoption fair one time and BOOM, a man fell for those bewitching green eyes!! I have to admit, the rest of us are a little bit jealous because we have been to the adoption fair LOTS of times and no one has ever fallen in love with us :-(.

But, that just means we get to keep living with JJ -- she says she won't ever kick us out!

Beignet was a little scared about leaving, but we hear she is getting along fine now. She was a pretty brave cat -- and even when she WAS scared, she would never let you know. Most of us will miss Beignet, even though she used to intimidate Amelie and Jinx. Jinx lives here at JJ's forever and she says she is glad Beignet is gone -- but, the "house" cats always think the fosters are impinging on their territory. They just don't understand that we all want to have houses of our own, too.

Jinx has paid her dues, though, someone put her and her brother and sister in a box and put them in the DUMPSTER when they were really little. Thank goodness one of JJ's neighbors heard them crying and got them out!

Amelie

JJ has been really sick. We have been trying to be good nurses and I think we have done a pretty good job. Except for a couple of things... like Max torn open the little trash bag and Amelie ate the top off of a box of kleenex. Oh, and Nikita knocked the Big Gray Cat's bowl off the counter and ate his food (but she didn't get caught so we'll just let JJ think that Sandy Claws came back and did it). But, other than that, we have been trying to be good and sleep with JJ a lot so she doesn't feel lonely.

Today she went back to work, even though we tried to tell her she needs to stay out all of this week and maybe next week too (cuz we like having her home). She said, no, if she didn't work, we would have to be outside catching REAL mice to eat because she wouldn't have the $$$ to buy Fancy Feast. Well, you know what we thought about that!! We practically pushed her out of bed this morning!!

There have been some pretty serious play fights at our house lately. We have been wrestling a lot and playing rough and standing on our hind legs and flailing at one another. It's fun. Sometimes JJ thinks we are really fighting but we tell her not to worry -- when we are REALLY fighting, she will see blood.

Beignet is actually getting a little nicer. She and Amelie like to fight through the hole in the thing we climb on a lot. She still has a stomachache so she is having to take medicine every day. We all hate to take medicine. Yuck!! At least she only has to do it once a day. JJ says she hates for us to have medicine too because first she has to chase us down and catch us -- and we know as soon as she gets the pill or dropper in hand -- then she has to hold on to us and we can be really slippery, THEN she has to pop our jaws open and stick her finger between our teeth -- THAT can be dangerous!!

I have been enjoying staying by myself some. I am slightly solitary. JJ calls me the "flopper" because if you start petting me, I think it feels so good, I just flop over!
