Guess what we figured out today? Well, we were playing in the computer room and Max got his bad leg going in the wrong direction and ran head first into the computer box amd it came on!! So now we know that, if we want to type while JJ is at work, we just have to run into it and here we are! I am working on this blog today because Oregano is sleeping.

The big tabby cat who hates us and won't come inside got a special house outside yesterday. It looks pretty cozy and has this small entrance so it is just like a cave -- JJ doesn't know if he will go in it -- I sure wish she would bring it inside so WE could go in it. It looks like a lot of fun. The black cat says that it is warm inside.

The other black cat (well, besides Max but who's counting)is Jinx. She was chasing Melody around the house again this morning. Melody's eye is better. She is still getting the medicine though and we all line up for the show when JJ puts it in. If we could record Melody, we could use it to scare people with tonight when they come for tricks and treats!!

We have been having fun playing today. Nikita rolled down the stairs while we were all playing with a ball but she is fine. Amelie got on the kitchen counter (boy does she get in trouble for that). Sometimes she can push stuff off the counter for us to play with but JJ has caught on and doesn't leave much good stuff up there any more. We're always watching though. We have a couple of new boxes to play in and have been making the most of them.

Hey, we love Sundays -- no adoption fairs and lots of times, JJ is home all day. I am snuggled up in her lap right now and it is kind of hard to type when I am kneading her arm!!

We played really hard last night. We got into some catnip that was on the kitchen counter and WOOOOHOOOO, did we have fun! We try to be really quiet so JJ does not wake up, but sometimes we get so excited we can't help ourselves. Then, she shines a light on us from the second floor and says "What are ya'll up to down there?"

Melody's eye is still squinty and she is pouting because she got more medicine in it this AM. She sounds like she is going to take JJ's arm off but she is only faking. She really loves JJ but she would love a home of her own even more -- in fact, we all would. That is what we dream about all of the time.

I'm going to run (no pun intended). I will get my picture posted soon with a little bio like Tita and Nikita have -- there is also Max and Amelie -- they need homes, too. Actually, I am one of the kitties "working" in the picture above but I want to put up one where you can see my absolutely bee-yoo-tee-ful face :-).

Me and Amelie had to go to the adoption fair again today. This place was pretty scary and different than the place we usually go -- there were lots of barking dogs. We couldn't really see the other cats, though, which was a pleasant change of pace. After we got through being afraid, we were REALLY bored. Amelie hogged the litterbox all day so I couldn't have peed if I had needed too.

When we got home, Melody got in the carrier -- like she would go somewhere if JJ wanted her too!! JJ had to put ointment in her eye and you would have thought she was cutting her tail off. Melody can be a real fuss pot at times. That's why Jinx always trys to beat her up. Jinx thinks Melody is too much of a prima donna.

That big old tabby cat, Lucky, slept in the house the other night. He hardly ever does because the black cat, Spooky, trys to get after him. Lucky always goes under the coffee table and you never heard such a ruckus. Most of the time, Lucky just thinks it is easier to sleep outside though JJ loses much sleep over that and would rather he be inside. I don't know if Spooky would be so mean if there weren't so many cats here. He says that outdoors, Lucky beats HIM up -- so what's up with that.

I just ate supper so I am pretty sleepy. If I don't go to sleep now, I won't be able to stay up all night! Oregano
