Randy Emerick sent me this picture just recently. It is a picture of Jaco Pastorius playing my 61 Precision at a rehearsal
for the 1982 Sanibel "Jazz on the Green". I am standing in the back (a lot thinner). Randall Dollahon is playing guitar and
George Mazzeo is on drums. The band is the Atlantean Driftwood Band. Jaco was the original bass player & I took over after
he left for the big time. The previous year, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to play with Jaco on the same concert.
We did a number of his tunes, including Teen Town with two basses! Those were some interesting times!
