1. Add the directory with the Siren executables to your path.
2. Set the environment variable SIRENHOME to the directory containing Siren. Siren will look there for a file called Siren.rib, which should contain default rendering options and attributes.
3. Set the environment variable SHADECH to a path containing the directories the shading compiler should search for header files.
