Leaps 'n Bounds

Ok.. well I got the job with EC COM Global, which is part of Cydcor. YAY!!! I start in 2 weeks since i have to give Mt. SAC some notice. The good news is that it's a fairly decent salary. Cydcor is an outsourced outside sales marketing firm. I will be working on one or both of two campaigns. One for Digital Work, web advertising and Card Services International, credit card processing. It's going to difficult. The first 3 weeks is purely being a consultant and pounding the pavement doing cold call outside sales to small businesses. Afterward which I have the choice of going salary w/quotas, approx 35G, or no cap, where i'd be straight commission and sky is the limit. Once the first 3 weeks is done I will start the manager training program where I will learn all there is to know about being a manager, as well as start training consultants, and new managers as well. The idea is that I will duplicate what EC COM Global has done and open my own office in 6-8 months. Cydcor is actually a network of independently incorporated companies. It has the feel of a multi level marketing/pyramid scheme business, but without actually being so. I will have an employment contract, benefits, etc. It's going to be rough and I will be taking a risk. I figure there is no time like the present to do something risky. I don't really have a whole lot to lose. If this works out then I'll be a business owner in 6-8 months with my own office and 15 employees taking in 80-100G a year per promotion. (this office runs 2) If not.. i'll find another job and this will have been great experience. :) Wish me luck ya'll~
