Give back to BlogBack

Hey guys... I want to a take a minute here and talk about Blogback. If ya don't use blogback then u can skip this post ^^ I don't usually promote products/services.. but here goes. I am amazed that it is still available to use. Even though Marcus isn't accepting any new blogs I'm surprised that the service is available at all. Reblogger and SnorComments have died a sad and painful death. Those unfortunate folks who don't use Greymatter or don't have blogback have resorted to msg boards and guestbooks. I really don't think weblogging is the same without commenting available. So, now in an effort to keep BlogBack going (which is a free service btw) Marcus has come up with BlogBack Plus.

As you may have noticed, free remote commenting systems don't last long unsupported. In a attempt to reel in more of the 99.7% of users that haven't yet donated, I've decided to give something extra back as incentive.
Basically, it's a web-based admin interface that gives you more control over your comment threads. Features currently include:

* Thread, and comment count, list
* Thread deletion
* Thread export (XML or dotcomments formats)
* Comment editing
* Comment deletion
* Access to IP addresses
* Quick links to RSS output

...and more to come in future, no doubt.

So.. it's only $5 per 6mo per blogID. I think that $5 really isn't a whole lot to ask. So, if u have a spare $5 and u use blogback, don't be part of the 99.7% of freeloaders ;) Ok.. that's the end of my blogback plug. ^^ I just happen to think it's a worth cause for those of us who use it and aren't savvyy enuf to use greymatter..

(**side note .. I like how brian and dusty have titles to each of their posts. I'm going to try it and see how it goes.. most likely I won't be able to think of anything clever for each of my post.. but what the hell *shrug*. )

It was brought to my attention that I fux0red up some of the ppls names at the party. If i screwed up your name I'm sorry and I think I've got 'em all straightened out now. >.< How embarassing!!

Regarding Juju.. I think I need to clear up some confusion.. she's not my doggie, altho I'd LOVE to be her mommy! Alas, she belongs to my friend Tom's roommate and we were doggie sitting for her anytime she's in a pic. She's just the sweetest dog! For those of you who don't really like small dogs because they are yappy and annoying... Juju will change your heart. She's so sweet and very well behaved! We took her everywhere that night and no one had a prob with her. When we were reading the menu outside of the restarant we ate at, the guy watching the door was baby talking to Juju.. ^^ When we decided to eat there I told her to get in the bag.. zipped it up and the guy didn't say anything about dogs not being allowed inside! She just took at nap in her bag while we ate and didn't make a peep! I don't think anyone knew she was in there. At Ghiradelli's chocolate soda shop Juju was actually out on my lap and all the waiters/waitresses just walked by and smiled at her! It's amazing... I totally thought we wouldn't be allowed to go in! People on the street kept pointing at juju and saying how cute she was with her little head poking out of her bag as we were walking. Well, I'm rambling now.. but it was fun.. I can't wait til we move and I can finally have a little furbaby of my own!

Ok I finally got my pictures developed, scanned, and uploaded. You can see all the photo fun here. I had an awesome time and 'making it real' as John would say was well worth the drive up. Lemme start by saying John and everyone else was so sweet! It was a little strange to stare Kendra and Mike in the face.. hehehe but John and Elizabeth were very cool about their majestic fame ^^ Elizabeth was a surprise! The girl is Tiny!! hehehe she told us that it's all John's fault that she cries all the time. He made her do it! Meeting Zem and Rappin was cool too! Doh me.. I had no idea they were an item :o/ *shrug* I'm always the last to know.. Sandra.. girl.. we need to all get together again! You roxor! hehe Matt (emmanualgoldstein) was really really tall.. and his fiancee Tiffany was a total riot! I thought i was a total nut for driving all the way up to SF from LA just for the party. (ok ok john the bf did all the driving) Matt and Tiffany flew in from Seattle!! I'm not the craziest one out there. hehehe It was also pretty cool to meet the ppl who make majestic happen, like Greg who did the web stuff and Nick who was a programmer. They all had no idea we players were going to be there. I think that tripped them out a bit. I had so much fun talking to everyone. There seemed to be 3 catagories of people there: ppl who worked on the project, ppl who have never played and came to the party as guests, and a few crazy players. Sorry Dusty but we didn't get a chance to kick Neil in the balls, he left before I got there.. I asked Zem to do it later for you.. but she wanted me to let you know that it would be difficult to do because he doesn't have balls to begin with. John has a phenominally nice pad. Only guy I know with so many candles all over the place.. it was awesome. I loved your meditation room. The pictures really tell all about the night.. It was great I wish we could all get together (east coast, canadian ppl too) We'd have such a good time together. I thought it might be awkward because I didn't really know anyone, but instead everyone was so friendly and open. By the end of the night it felt like I'd known everyone for ages :) We missed all u who couldn't make it! All I can say is we really really need to have a get together now that includes everyone!
