Well, today is my last day at work before the campus closes for the holidays. It's been a ghost town here for the past week. Who knows why are even open. I'm feeling less overwhelmed and stressed and i'm finally getting into the holiday spirit. ^^ I still have a ton of things to do, thanks to my sudden attack of procrastination last night >.< I was supposed to be wrapping gifts.. but i was chatting with you folks and just goofing around on the net. Looks like I may be joining the DAoC posse soon. Amazon.com has it at 50% off $19.99 (thanks, or rather maybe no thanks to brian for passing on that info) So, looks like i really have to upgrade my computer. I keep on putting off the inevitable. Truth be told, I don't want to fork out the money (about $400) I'd rather spend it on a snowboard come the new year. Decisions, decisions... At least i have the funds to be able to buy something. Thank gawd my years of being a dirt poor student are over with. It's nice to have a bit of money to be flexible with. I still feel guilty even buying myself a pair of jeans tho... Looks like it's time for me to make a list of things that i am grateful for this past year. (not in any particular order other than what came to my mind first)

I'm thankful for this past year...

• my family and loved ones, who keep me sane and grounded. If we stick together there isn't anything we can't get through!!!
  
• my faith, and the wonderful ppl i work with at church, who encourage me
  
• for john, who has and continues to love me unconditionally
  
• my health
  
• my job, and the awesome co-workers i have
  
• being blessed w/the opportunity to direct the children's choir at church (they may act like little devils sometimes, but they are all so precious!)
  
• my awesome friends.. i finally have ppl i know i can count on. No games, no nonsense just genuine friendship
  
• for my stronger sense of self... I know now that i'm a survivor and that i can make it through the tough times
  
• for the tough times, they helped me become a stronger individual
  
• for my really kewl online friends i met thru majestic. Who knew there were still mature, facinating ppl using the internet~ ;o)
  
• in all honesty, this is very selfish and i kind of feel guilty about it, but i'm very thankful that no one i knew personally was lost in the either DC or NY.
  
• and finally.. I'm just thankful for me. I'm comfortable with who i am. I'm not exactly where i had planned to be at this point in my life, but then when does that ever really happen just as you plan. Then again, I know who I am. I have a fairly good idea of where i want to go and how to get there and I have the ability to do so. There really isn't much more that i can ask for.
