*sigh* ok.. I'm becoming obsessed with getting a dog. I can't have one where I live right now, (tiny w/o a yard, plus not allowed.) My folks are trying to buy a home. So far the 3 we're found to our liking were sold by the time we went to make an offer. The folks promised my little sister (12 yrs old) that they'd buy her a golden retriever puppy when we move. Alas, my father has MAJOR dog/cat allergies. I mean he gets cold sores all around his upper lip and sneezes non-stop. So, if we want a doggie, she/he's going to be an outside dog and I refuse to have a dog in those conditions. I really really want a maltese and have been lurking in the Maltese Only message boards for months now. They are known to be somewhat hypoallergenic because they don't have an undercoat and their fur is like human hair. I guess I'm beginning to rub off on my sister, who is now rethinking getting a large dog and leaning more towards a maltese or pomeranian. This is all fine and dandy except we're back to not being able to have the dog indoors which as far as I'm concerned not an acceptable way to have a dog. It's getting to be pathetic. I want to visit my cousin who has a pom and a papillion just to play with the dogs. I really really miss having furry cuddly pets. Some how my baby turtle Speedy and betta fishes Sparticus and Dionysus aren't the same. *sigh* I need my own pad
