Super Sport Chevy 2 Part 4

Burnouts! Almost a legal way of having fun! This was the local waterbox. This was taken the morning after a trip to the dragstrip.

Always make sure the cameraman knows that are going to roll out by letting off the line lock. Mine didn't that why the picture is slightly out of focus.

This is the rear cover of the May 2003 issue of Nova Times. I sent all the information about the my car to them in October of 2002. I found out that my car had been selected as a feature car. I have been a member of the National Nostalgic Nova for several years and I highly recommend anyone interested in Nova to join. Anyone interested in Novas should also check out. www.stevesnovasite.com It is packed with great information and hundreds of people who will help you out.

Here is another rear view from a slightly different angle. You can also get a view of the upgrade to the fuel system. That represents about $500 worth of fuel pump, line, fittings and aggravation. I am very pleased by look of the M.T. tires. The car drives great with the new wheels and tires. I installed disk brakes off a 73 Hatchback Nova spring of 2003. The car drives much better and I am sure it is much safer.

As with all hot rods, a person tends to collect of few broken pieces along the way. The clutch explosion was the most violent. It was only a week old when that happened. The broken rocker arm was a pain because it was on the exhaust side. The other rocker is on it?s way to breaking and has turned a pretty shade of blue.

Here is another shot of the car from the front. The car sits much higher in the front since I rebuilt the new front end and installed disk brakes. The front coil springs are out of a 69 6 cylinder Nova and have been in the car for several years.
