I went to pull the side cover off the M-22 that replaced the worn out M-20 and couldn?t find the transmission. At some point
during the rebuild someone broke into my garage and stole my transmission. It had stored in the garage along with all the
other parts that had been removed from the car.

Luckily I had insurance on the car and received a fair settlement. With the money I received and the proceeds from the sale
of another car I bit the bullet and bought a new Richmond 5 speed transmission and Long shifter. Along the way I changed the
rear axle ratio to 3.42 to match better the 5 speed ratios.

I also upgraded the clutch to RAM Borg & Beck pressure plate with a six pad metallic disk. A Lakewood scatter shield and a
30-pound billet flywheel are also used. I also have solid u-joints and billet caps on the rear yoke. The rear wing was installed
during the paint job. My buddy Tim and I built the wing during our college days.

I have completely rebuilt the front suspension replacing the shocks, ball joints and all the steering pieces. At the same
time I converted the car to disk brakes and replaced all the rubber brake lines with stainless steel lines. I think rebuilding
the frontend and disk brakes have been one of the best upgrades I have made.

The most recent change I have made is the new Weld Racing Pro Stars wheels and Mickey Thompson tires. The 8" rear wheels
have 4.3/4 backspace the old 8.5 Cragar Super Tricks had 6.0 inch backspace. The new wheels push the tires outward towards
the quarter panel and fills out the wheel opening much better. The Cragar Super Trick wheels caused the Pro-Trac N-50-15 to
rub on the innner wheel well fairly badly, the new wheels work much better. My future plans include refurbishment of the interior.

I plan on replacing the hood with a 4" cowl induction hood and replacing the front and rear bumpers in the future along with
a new paint job. I haven't decided on the color yet. I had considered the factory color Grecian Green with black Yenko style
stripes. My wife wants red, I might go with Marina Blue.
