This site is dedicated to providing a photo gallery of some of Jim's carvings and photo hobbies.

Jim's carvings are made as a gift for visitors to the mile-high Pool "Ranch" that continue on to the mountain trek above 14,000 feet.  All are made of Basswood and are less than 3" tall unless otherwise noted.  The paint is acrylic in the form of a stain so that the wood grain shows.  These photos may be all that remains for us to see of these pieces.
