| Thank you for visiting. This POOL Side site is
maintained by Jim Pool and is dedicated to providing the Genealogy
of the POOL relations, source documents, photos, related history and free programs. In
addition are a Library section full of stories, computer help, finance,
and trivia and a Photos section of hobbies, people, places, and things
totaling 500++ pages. The Getting Started
section will help you begin your ancestry quest and offers FREE programs (these will
not work in WinXP). I have placed several data bases
of POOL relations that contain my direct lineage and collateral lines on the RootsWeb
server as well as an entire
website and images. Please see the data base and
site policy for limitations.
JavaScript is used for pop-down menu site navigation. If JavaScript is not
available on your browser, you may use the links at the left for a partial navigation
directory or the Site-Map for the whole picture (note that
there are two pages). You may also use the POOL Side SEARCH
engine to find stuff by topic keywords. There are also pages describing several
JavaScript, password, stylesheet, and HTML techniques used.
Please enjoy your surfing here. I am always looking for new and interesting items
to include as well as corrections and additions to the cousins of the POOLs of
Wisconsin. Contributors are acknowledged throughout. You may contact me or check pages about
me for more details.
The pages herein are basically free of graphics so they will load faster, take less
space, and make your time more productive. When photos and graphics are important,
you can elect to view them individually by clicking on their description. Some of
the pages use JavaScript and/or frames. The use of cookies will be announced before
they are executed (no cookies are currently used or planned). For complete
enjoyment, your web browser should enable JavaScript and your monitor should be set to at
