| I was born and went to school in, Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin (see web sites below). I was the middle of 5 children
raised in a solid brick, two-story house. I tried to create
fun with laughter. My mother and father were both graduates of the University of
Wisconsin. I spent wonderful summers with my maternal grandparents on the homestead
farm just west of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and many great visits listening to the stories
told by my paternal grandmother in Kohler,
Wisconsin. I have always been interested in how things worked, so Mother agreed to
send me to Madison for an Engineering college education. I married Sue
Martin of Adell, Wisconsin, during college after a three year courtship. After
graduation with a Civil Engineering degree, we moved to Casper, Wyoming. I had a
job with the Bureau of
Reclamation building powerlines, power plants, canals, pipelines, visitor centers, and
youth camps. Soon, I was moved to Denver, Colorado to do cost estimating and work on
special projects for the Reclamation Commissioner and Congressional committees.
Through my father's influence I developed an interest in art, creative thought, and stories. Through my Mother's
encouragement, I became interested in how things worked and where we came from (genealogy).
I continued my education with master programs in Administration at the Colorado State University and Applied
Mathematics at the Colorado School of
Mines and acquired registration in Colorado as a Professional Engineer. I finished my professional career
administering construction contracts and analyzing project schedules to avoid cost overrun
and court costs.
I have always used computers to simplify my work and write my own software.
Really it was just an enjoyable experience, but I tried to not let that be too
widely known. After "retirement" I worked for the Foothills Bible Church of Littleton,
Colorado, for a few years, building and administering their computer network, web sites, technology use, and teaching computer workshops.
I live in Lakewood,
Colorado (see web sites below) and help children,
adults, and seniors with school and computer problems and try to stimulate an interest in computer solutions.
My other interests include wood
carving, writing children's stories, history, exploring Colorado mountains, and traveling across the
US. I can be contacted by mail, phone, and Internet (no

Lakewood, Colorado - Way out west the history and culture takes
on a completely different flavor. Jefferson County has the largest school district, the highest concentration of government and technical
workers outside Washington, DC, and a fantastic library system. Lakewood is a city of 140,000 using 43 square miles of foothill approach with a look forward. The Bureau of Reclamation,
which was my career for
31 years, was one of many agencies in a square mile compound known as the Federal Center
which originally was the Remmington Rand ammunition plant in W.W.II. As you pass
through the foothills, you step back in geologic time and see the red rocks amphitheater. The Denver metropolitan area encompasses many counties and
several million people (DRCOG)
interested in a wide
range of activity. This area has experienced the lowest jobless rate in the
nation. Come visit Colorado
and say, "Howdy" which means, "Have a good day and may the winds blow more
good will your way".
Computer - Computer activities have been my passion and has earned my computer being
first named "Jezebel" for she has taken over my mind. Verses are courtesy

for my computer: "Beulah" for the Lord is delighted.

My computer is a modest P2-300 with never enough (30 Gb) disk space, laser printer,
