Overview Map
This is the map of the current room.
It shows the areas you have explored. Unexplored areas are not shown.
The map is updated as you move through the room.
It shows where you are (white arrow) and where other players are (colored arrows) in the room.
Press F5 for a list of other players in the room.
Notice that other player's arrows are color-coded by class.
Also note that teleports you have found are indicated as green "Ts." Doors are shown as white
lines and secret doors as yellow lines.
At the bottom of the map, the level and name of the room are shown.
Dungeon View Section
This is the dungeon view from your character's perspective.
Group Members
This area shows your name and status and the name and status of any members in your party.
The two bars under a character's name show his or her health (blue) and magical essence (red).
Character classes are shown by the color coding of the text.
The current party leader is always at the top of the list.
Join Icon
This is the party icon. Different options will be available to you here, depending on whether
you are questing alone or with a party.
If you are alone, you can "join" another player or "wait for party" to join you, as
the leader.
If you are the leader of a party, your options will be to "drop from party" or "open party" to
allow more players to join.
When you "join" another player, his or her name will appear at the top of the
dialog box, as the leader.
As a member of a party, you can "drop from party" to leave the group.
Inventory Icon
This icon brings up the inventory screen. Use it to view your inventory, move or sell items,
use potions, or equip weapons and armor.
Online Maps
All rooms that you have visited in the dungeon will have a map.
This icon opens these on-line maps for you.
Clicking on it will bring up the map of your current location.
Once the maps are opened, a pair of scroll arrows allows you to page forward and backward
through your map list.
To ADD a note to a map, select the map and click on the spot where you want the note to appear.
A dialog box will open for your note.
To EDIT a note in your maps, select the map and right click on the note you wish to change.
Again, a dialog box will open but it will contain the current text of the note.
Edit the text and select "keep" or "delete."
Statistics Icon
This icon opens your character's statistics screen. Use this screen to view your character's
attributes and statistical data. You can also use it to check differences in statistical data
when testing items and equipment for your character.
Terminal Icon
This icon allows you turn music on or off.
Spellbook Icon
With the spellbook icon, your character will be able to cast spells while traveling.
Note: option is not yet available.
Movement Keys
Left-click the arrows on the screen, or press the
cursor keys on the keypad to move in the direction you wish your character to move.
Message Box
This area displays gameplay text, as well as messages between players.
The text of each player's message is color-coded by character class and appears on the
screen preceded by his or her name.
If the message is to you alone, it will be labeled "prv".
If the message is sent within a party, it will be labeled "party".
Important gameplay messages and events will appear in yellow. The results of your actions,
as well as any other pertinent information will be displayed here.
