A student organization, a branch of the
American Marketing Association, brought dancers (fully clothed)
from two San Diego nude dancing establishments to their display
area as a publicity stunt. Those entering the booth were able to
purchase discounted tickets to nude dancing clubs in San Diego.

But the organization did not attempt to get prior authorization
from the Cultural Arts and Special Events Review Board. Therefore
they were requested to shut down their booth, not because of the
dancers but because they did not ask for prior approval, and
because it is against University policy to allow businesses to
market their products without such approval.
