Dave is still way behind on updating this website. He needs good web access and spare time. So, check back from time to time, but don’t be put off by erratic updates. ALEGRÍA is safely at Netsel Marina at Marmaris in SW Turkey.
We left Seattle in 1977 to 79 for a trip from Seattle to Acapulco, Tahiti, Hawaii, Canada, Seattle. In 1981 we went back to the Pacific side of Mexico for 5.3 years and then Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala and we arrived at Texas in 1989. Texas ‘89 to ’99. Up to Baltimore, MD until 2005. Then we crossed the Atlantic in 2005. We wintered ‘05/’06 at Lagos, Portugal, ‘06/’07 at Almerimar, Spain and ‘07/’08 at Porto Turistico di Roma at Ostia Lido near Rome, Italy. We plan to winter in Turkey for ‘08/’09.
As our website starts to get full, the older items might be removed.
It is much simpler for me to do if I do not supply a “Back” button with each photo. For most of you, you can just hit the “Backspace” key to get back to the previous page. In the worst case, use the “Back” button on your browser.
You may notice that as a photo downloads that it is bigger than your screen. When it gets fully downloaded, it "snaps" to a smaller size that fits in the browser window on your screen. If that happens and you wish to see the full size, place the arrow controlled by your mouse over the photo. A white square should appear at the bottom right-hand corner. Left click on that square and the photo should become full size. These instructions are for Internet Explorer only.
Kindly worded suggestions about how to do a better job, links that don’t work, typos, etc. are welcomed, but Dave needs simple solutions and minimal new software for web design. If we move the site, we will notify the folks that we used to bulk mail. So, if you were not notified, we apologize.
