Final Fantasy VII

You want a great game? How about a game that has been nominated as one of the best games ever? I'm talking about Final Fantasy VII, a one player R.P.G. game developed by Square Soft. With an overall rating of 9.5, this game takes much time to master but only hours to beat. Many people have called it an easy game, but when I ask, "Have you mastered it?"Then there's just a silence.

In this game, you must go through three CD-ROMs. It took Next Generation Online, a total of 49 hours to complete the game. ( about 25 hours for disc one, 15 hours for disc two and 9 for disc three- the majority of the game was breeding and racing chocobos) While it is possible for the game to be completed in less time, rushing to complete it is totally not recommended. The game's plot is deep and typical of Square Soft's prior efforts, quite epic. Square takes great pride in its story telling abilities and uses a number of flashback sequences and loads of rendered sequences to add greatly to the mood and emotion of the story. The special attacks and spells, however, are the games strongest points. All characters have "limit breaks" which can only be used after the character has received much damage. When the limit is reached, the character does a strong and powerful attack on the opponent. All characters except one have four limit breaks.

All in all, it is impossible not to recommend Final Fantasy 7 to any serious game player. It's one of the greatest games of all time.
