The Journey
by Erin G.

THUS BEGAN a grand adventure. OUR greatest challenge yet. SOme parts will be exciting and fun. But the
LONGEST and most difficult part is yet to come. The adventure is a
JOURNEY, called life. If you lose your map along the way, I'll be there. We'll face it
TOGETHER.

It Was Summertime
by Emily M.

IT felt so sweet upon my face. The balmy, tropical breeze
WAS rolling of the shore. I had emerged fom my dark and frigid winter hibernation. At last
SUMMERTIME arrived and I greeted it with an overwhelmig celebration of the new season in the soft, amber sunset.

"Why?"
Vickey W.

DO
YOU know why there is
STILL so much prejudice and
HATE in the world? There's too much, and it's saddens ME how we let is go on.

Trouble with the Red Sox
Dan L.

IT'S as though the Sox are
NOT able to even score the runs in
TIME to win games, or do so often. Some
WORRY that they will never win
YET they always come so close

To Kill a Mockingbird
Pat S.

TO start the chase, to hunt, to make a
KILL, ready, aim, fire, the shot hits
A deer, it falls, it lies, it dies, a,
MOCKINGBIRD mourns the death.

It's Not Time To Worry Yet
by Lauren M.

IT'S
Not hard to see that
TIME is precious and
TO waste all of your time with
WORRY and fear accomplishes nothing.
YET to spend your time in happiness accomplishes everything.

It's Not Time to Worry.
by David M.

DON'T fool around in class.

Anything you do, good or bad, affects your future.
It's a fact.
Not doing your work on

Not Alone
by Angela C.

I know this time that I saw it for real, but I don't
THINK my mom will ever believe me
THERE'S an old man living in my room
ONE that is scary and mean. He hides
UNDER my bed all day and all night. Oh, me, oh,
MY. Out of all the beds in the world, why did he have to pick my
BED to live under ???

Grown Folks Don't Have Hidin' Places
by Brendan K.

GROWN
FOLKS are no fun to play hide and seek with. They
DON'T want to play with us either because they don't
HAVE the small size necessary for
HIDIN' in small, hard to find
PLACES. This makes them too easy to find, and ruins the game.

Boo's Children Need Him
by Jessica M.

BOO'S a man who has always kept to himself. His
CHILDREN were in trouble and they
NEEDED his help. Even though they didn't know
HIM, he knew them very well.

There's A Time
by Maria L.

IT'S time to be joyous and happy. It's
NOT time to be fearful or angry. There's a time
TO
WORRY, but that time isn't now.
