A morning like no other,
Cell phones ringing, taxies beeping, humans talking,
BOOM!
A nation instantly turned upside down,
God himself couldn't even explain what happened,
The Twin Towers unexpectedly were bombed,
Fire, smoke, dust hovers over the city of New York

Parents, siblings, friends, neighbors all lost their lives,
Tears flooding into the hearts of billions,
Chaos all over the World,
Then to add to it all,
The Towers came crashing to the
Earth.

Heroes disappear into a dust cloud,
After the dust cleared the heroes were gone,
Sadly, but bravely they too had lost their lives,
Only one question on terrified peoples' minds,
Who had done such an evil act of terror,
In our eyes,
Cowards.

Citizens of New York rush to the nearest phones,
Only to find lines a mile long,
Many people hear the devastating news that loved ones had perished,
For the first time in a long time a nation pulls together,
Not just a nation but a whole world becomes one.

No one can understand why the cowards did this,
But we all can do our part
To insure that it doesn't happen again,
In the aftermath thousands are gone,
Thousands are mourning their loses,
Nobodies becoming somebodies,
Men becoming heroes
A morning like no other.
