First New England Schnauzer Picnic

We had a lovely day for the first New England Schnauzer Picnic. A special thanks to Janet Carter who found the perfect spot for the gathering and to her friends Shirley and Mary who allowed us to hold the event at their home. What a beautiful spot for the dogs to run and for us to gather under a shade tree and chat. I think I must have been chatting too much as I didn't get a picture of everyone who attended.

Shirley and Mary had recently put in a lovely little water garden. For some reason, for the very first time one of Shirley's little darlings suddenly decided to climb in!!!! In the background are Nancy Powell and her daughter along with Sue Webel. The little darling on the left is my Katie. While I was taking this picture, I kept saying, "Katie! Don't even think it." Fortunately, she just watched. :-)
