NYC - The Big City

New York City
Rush hour
Skyscrapers touching the clouds
Trains struggling to be on time
Cars clogging the congested streets
People churlishly gabbing on their cell phones.
Patriotism in the myriad storefronts.
Thousands of sittings cars' fumes.
Food from the many ethnicities of the city.
The garbage of many days and nights.
The exotic languages of the world
Horns beeping in traffic.
Quiet little chats at cafes
The obnoxious ringing of phones
Thick accents in conversation
Lattes at Starbucks
Chinese food from Chinatown
Lasagna from Little Italy
Subs on the subway
Looking out from the Statue of Liberty
The many varied and proud faces of New York City.
