The Basketball Game

Team huddle,
kids running to their positions,
"Pass it to me!"
dribbling feet hitting the floor,
The crowd cheering,
a referee's whistle.
Time out,
back into the game
Whistle-foul-two shots.
First shot sinks into the net
Whoosh
Second shot bounces off the back board.
Box out and get the rebound.
The game,
ten seconds left,
running down the court,
adreniline pumping,
a lay up, WE WIN!
Game over.
