Besides just doing a good design, we are often hit with something complicated like this.
This cover design was requested by the client who had a new concept he wanted to illustrate.
This was totally created in Photoshop with an extremely large number of layers and effects.
I needed to show two separate flows with the interactions between cells.
I accomplished this by color coding the large background flow lines.
Working with a photographer, I was able to locate a good photo of a mouse to tie in the overall concept.
