John H. Fultz
John and Sophia Valentine Fultz sold property in Pickaway Township in 1817 preparation for the move to Vermillion Co. Indiana. Two sons were born to them in Ohio, Wm. Valentine and Joseph. I believe they were then divorced in Indiana in abt 1827 and John then married Elizabeth Micah in 1830. John owned numerous properties there and a leather tanning business. They had two daughters. When John died in 1846 there were 76 pages of paper in his estate file and 26 Listings of property. the estate was not settled for 10 years and during this period both Wm. Valentine and Joseph, his sons, had moved to Sangamon Co. IL. William V. returned to Indiana in 1864 and spent the remainder of his life there. John also had two brothers who traveled to Indiana with him, William and Andrew Jr.
William Valentine Fultz
William Valentine Fultz and his wife Sidney Ann Boggs Fultz left Indiana around 1849 for Illinois. They had two children, John Mann and Josephine Viola. Sidney died around 1850. In 1864 Wm. and his children returned to Perrysville, IN. Son John Mann served in the Civil War. Josephine married Thomas Jason Clark and returned to IL. Wm. Valentine stayed in Perrysville, IN and lived there until he died about 1904. He never remarried. Wm. bought two pieces of property in 1868 which is recorded in BK 23, PG l1 and pg 202- 7 acres total, for $203.00-Vermillion Co. IL. Jeri Helms Fultz
