Johan Henry Valentine was born on his father's homestead- 9-23-1799 sold Maryland land; 1807 Washington Twp,  Pickaway Co. OH farmer of 320 acres; 1829 sold land to sons Joshua and  Joseph;  died at Joshua's ; buried at Zion Church cemetery, Washington Twp;  He was sober,  still, did not often smile or laugh; a Bible reader. He moved to Pickaway Co., OH between the years of 1798 and 1804.
