2002 In November, Composer-in-Residence for the Centenial of Korean Immigration at the Ebb & Flow Arts Festival in Honolulu and Maui, Hawaii. Will give lectures at University of Hawaii and Maui College. "Nol-Ja!" will be performed in Maui and Honolulu.

1996 In July, Participated in the Crossroads of Traditions which was the second Inter American Composers workshop at Indiana University, studied with John Corigliano and Roberto Sierra, gave a lecture on Korean traditional music and my own music, and performed When a leaf sways away.
1995 In February, Guest Composer for the Oberlin Winter Chamber Orchestra; Equilibrium was commissioned and performed at the Oberlin Conservatory.
1994 In July, Fellow composer in the Composition Advanced Master Class at the Aspen Music Festival, studied with Jacob Druckman and Bernard Rands, and performed A Piece for Peace and Mourning.

2002 A CD of Arrangements (USA, Brazil, Costa Rica, Protugal, Senegal, Uruguay, and Korea) for 2002 World Cup Game has been released in Korea.
1999-2001 A CD which contains Heroes-Fanfare for 2002 World Cup in Su-Won, Korea has been released three times in Korea.
2000 A CD which includes Tiger chasing the wind for flute, viola, and harp was released by Koch International Records in January.
2000 A CD which contains Longing under the moon... was released by Doublemoon Records in Turkey in June.
