Off the southern coast of Maui, there is a half-crater called Molokini. just about every diver tries to get out to see this place, and with good reason. The water is calm, crystal clear and a good bit of the crater is 60 ft. deep -- just right for diving. We had a great pair of dives that day.

James and I got ready to dive first. We were the most experienced divers on the boat! |
This was our boat for the day, taken after we got wet. |

Fishy-fishy-fishy!! |
On our second dive, we got close to some sharks that were hiding in the rocks. |

This was a white tip oceanic shark that was cruising by. Cool! |
Some of the best reef diving I've ever seen. The visibililty was at least 80 ft. |

Deb snorkled while we dove. Here, she's chillinn while we take a breather between dives. |
We were a pretty big bunch, scurrying after our guide. I thought it was lots of fun. |

On our first dive, our guide spotted and got his hands on an octopus. |
