is a progressive, modern architect specializing in entertainment, resturant, residential, and virtual architectural design.A pioneer in the use of computers to design architecture, Kellen has adapted this expertise to the production of computer game titles and to the integration of entertainment with architecture in designs for an urban entertainment center and theme park in Singapore. Some of David Kellen's built projects include Rockenwagner restaurant, which appeared in Interiors, the Shinko Management office and Fama restaurant, both lauded in Progressive Architecture and Monarch Beach Market, featured in Interior Design.Current work includes houses in Malibu and Beverly Hills, California as well as numerous commercial and residential projects. He is a professor of architecture at the University of Southern California.

Kellen was a principal in the firm of Schweitzer-Kellen. The firm designed numerous restaurants and food service facilities including City restaurant. Other noteworthy projects include Gallay, a clothing store, and Juan Juan, a beauty salon, both in Beverly Hills. After receiving his training at U.C.L.A., Kellen worked for such noteworthy architects as Frank Gehry and Charles Moore. As a Project Architect at the firm of Frank O. Gehry and Associates, Kellen worked on the ICS-Engineering Research Facility, a 25,000 square foot building at the University of California Irvine Campus.David Kellen's work has been published internationally in such magazines as Japan Architect, Domus, Kukan and Vogue-Australia.
