Scheduling options

• Use the scheduler built-in to NetWorker. The built-in scheduler keys on start times for groups which have the "Autostart" setting enabled.



• Use "cron" or "at" on the server to invoke "savegrp" commands.



• Use "cron" or "at" on clients to invoke "save" commands.



• Use a 3rd party scheduler on server or clients to invoke backups.



• Shoot from the hip and start backups interactively whenever you feel the need.
