WHEN SHOULD THIS BE DONE?
Home inspections are usually done for buyers after the binder or agreement of sale is signed. Binders are often "subject to" home inspections. Most often there is not a great deal of time to have the inspection performed, so a speedy response by the inspection company is imperative. Sellers often have their homes inspected prior to putting them on the market to reveal any problems they might not have been aware of.

A home inspection will provide you with a comprehensive analysis of the home that you are about to buy or sell. You will gain insight into the condition of the home.

WHAT DOES A HOME INSPECTION INCLUDE?
Our comprehensive inspection covers a thorough visual inspection of the interior and exterior of the home or building that meets or exceeds the ASHI standards. It is an extensive inspection that covers hundreds of items and includes the exterior grading and landscaping, structure (foundation, framing, roofing, siding, porches, doors and windows, etc.), heating and cooling systems, plumbing, electric, insulation and ventilation. A full written report is issued at the time of inspeciton

SHOULD I BE PRESENT FOR THE HOME INSPECTION?
Yes! You will benefit more from the inspection if you are present. You are encouraged to walk through with our inspector, express any concerns or ask any questions you may have. The inspector can give you helpful maintenance tips and provide you with insights into the workings of the home. An inspection takes about two to three hours.

AT THE TIME OF INSPECTION
A comprehensive written report is given to you. The inspection fee includes ongoing consultation.

RADON TESTS
Radon is a clear odorless radioactive gas that can sometimes lead to certain health ailments. It is the second leading cause of lung cancer. It can be a problem if it builds up to an unsafe level in the home. The test consists of an electronic sensing device and results can be printed out "on the spot" for quick anyalsis. This test requires set up 48 hours prior to getting your results.
