Conclusions

Results from this study indicate a total increase of 5 to 7 percent in populations of disabled individuals near the blue-line (south) and Downtown station areas in 2000.  However, disabled populations located near all other stations and (station areas) maintain an average increase of approximately 3 percent.  Furthermore, the control measurement calculated for all of Dallas County indicates a decline of approximately 6 percent.
