Western Trip: September, 2004

In September, 2004, I made a trip based on a week in Yosemite National Park.
Starting in Santa Fe, I spent a night at the Grand Canyon, then two nights in Las Vegas to visit the Valley of Fire state park.
Then a night in Lee Vining, CA to see Mono Lake. After my week in Yosemite I travelled north to get to St. Paul, MN to see my sister.
On the way I spent a night each in Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.
Not a lot of time in places other than Yosemite, but a beautiful route when you are
on a travel deadline. All in all, I put about 5,000 miles in for the month. Lots of story tapes.
