The Tetons are truly unique and incredibly picturesque. I had an afternoon, evening and morning there, so I didn't get a lot of sleep. The highlight? Saw my first beaver in the wild at sunset. Oh yeah, and the fall colors. Just spectacular.

The plan at Yellowstone was to get a picture of Old Faithful with the full moon rising. Got the former, the thunderstorm swallowed the latter. So much for precise planning. The next day I prowled for wildlife and was rewarded with Elk, Grizzly and a Coyote feasting.
