Yosemite National Park I

This was my first visit to Yosemite. It's all it's cracked up to be. I will be back here in February, 2005 for a workshop, so I did not spend all my time doing "classic shots" in the valley. So, here and on the next page are a mix of pix.

Probably the most interesting afternoon was the day I went up the Glacier Point Road, closed in the winter, and it snowed! That was a rare treat. At Glacier Point it was an Ansel Adams moment, with the clouds obscurring the view. For an instant, the clouds opened up and gave us a "window" on the Yosemite Valley.
