The personal Web site has often been referred to as a vanity page. Since vanity is not my strong suit, this will be a brief page.
I was born on January 30th. My childhood was great. Dad and my late Mother provided well, and placed education pretty high on the list of things I should consider important. During my late teens and 20s, college took up most of my time. After what seemed like an eternity, I graduated from Westmar College in Le Mars, Iowa. Shortly after that event, I attended and earned my Master of Education degree from Eastern New Mexico University located in Portales (can you guess which state?).
After a 10 year hitch in a city job in Denver, Colorado, I moved back to California. My career with the Los Angeles Unified School District started shortly after I settled in. Im also a train buff. In a way, I wish we were still using steam locomotives. My all time favorite loco is the Union Pacific Big Boy. It was the largest steamed power locomotive ever made. A few have survived. Number 4005, the one I have highest regard for, is at the Forney Museum in Denver, Colorado. Without a doubt, my favorite automobiles are the Lincoln Continentals made from 1961 to 1963.
Oh yeah, what would a homepage be without a favorite quote or line? Click here to hear mine. Its from the greatest sci-fi flick ever made, The Day The Earth Stood Still. A true sci-fi movie nut can easily guess what the line is.
So, thats about it. Explore the rest of my Web site, and youll get a better picture of me. If you have a moment, please respond to the Viewer's Survey. Enjoy!
