Graduation Day

May 16, 1998 was a day of celebration, joy, and relief. The graduation ceremony helped bring closure to the long process of taking lots of classes and doing a dissertation. Photographs by Frank Taylor.

The actual hooding by my dissertation chair, Dr. Patricia Boverie. This was at the College of Education Convocation, the second of two graduation ceremonies I attended on May 16, 1998.

Lunch after the ceremonies at the President's house at UNM. Have to get something for free after years of paying tuition and fees to UNM. :-)
