The purpose of THNC is to educate and protect the public about the technology that is coming into our homes. It is a new, as-yet unfunded venture that will provide online and phone services; research and development; protocol standards development; functional build, test, and evaluation of home networks and components; certifications; and other programs as THNC and the home networking industry grow.
THNC will work to develop practical new ways of applying high-technology and environmentally responsible products to residential needs. We will help create and expand new markets. THNC will work to meet environmental, energy, and quality-of-life needs of society and the planet. We will educate people about new products and technologies, and we will expand the awareness of the public about technological home-based developments.

Wrote a computer quality assurance and standards guidebook to teach programmers how to upgrade and maintain other Fairfield Engineering software.
Performed a quality control analysis; created pre- and post-processors to convert foot, inch, and fractional-inch measurements into real numbers, and enabled Fairfield engineers to immediately interpret run results.
Computer skills in word processing, database and spreadsheet
Wrote pre-processor screen software for a major Hobart engineering design application resulting in more reliable data entry, reduced input errors, faster turnaround, and greater confidence in the design capabilities of the application.

Produced a single-sheet, biweekly employee newsletter at the Easton Trader Joes store for twelve months. Authored and conceptualized the design, recruited other employees to be co-editors, motivated them to meet deadlines, helped build a better team of employees, met the needs of the organization.
Created an educational nonprofit corporation called The Home Network Center (THNC) to help educate and protect people about new technology that is coming into our homes. Recruited a board of directors, wrote supporting documentation, and earned 501(c)(3) status with the IRS on the first attempt.
Created and presented one-day workshops for teachers, principals, and secretaries of Marion (Ohio) City Schools to understand and use effectively their new computers. Each workshop applied easy-to-understand concepts and assumed no previous experience; participants worked in pairs and moved at their own speed; each new lesson built on the skills learned in previous lessons.
Designed, built, and installed a high-technology residential burglar and fire alarm system. Solved relay logic problems for maximum levels of security and control; designed and built printed circuit boards, met or exceeded customers expectations for minimal visibility, performance versatility, and dependability.
