Visigoths and Opal Mehta 

Athenians and Visigoths and Reflections on What's in the News ... Okay, no, this link doesn't talk specifically about the whole Opal Mehta travesty, and I'm not going to talk about it much here, but I ran across this speech by Neil Postman (who I've blogged about before). And as I read it, I couldn't help but think about the applications to so many things happening in today's world. Including the whole Opal Mehta/Viswanathan thing. Read it and see what you think...
