On the road again ....
As soon as dawn breaks (okay, actually, maybe more like 10ish. Eleven. Okay, noon at the VERY latest....) we're heading out for the Metroplex. The Dallas/Ft. Worth grandparents haven't seen the kidlet in months and months. She's excited (I think she smells presents and attention on the horizon). I'm excited. I'm incredibly behind on work, but my dad and the hotel both have a pool, it's summer, and, as they say, the living is easy ... (Yes, yes, I know I'm going to be working there. But I just want to chill for a few minutes of fabulous fantasy...)
