A shout out for good reviews!

CataRomance | Single Titles | The Givenchy Code "This is one action-packed romance that you won’t want to miss." -- I just love reading good reviews. That's probably a well, duh, moment, but I felt like I had to shout it out there, because it *is* a nice feeling. As writers we toil in a room by ourselves (I won't say loneliness b/c with the Internet and email, I so rarely feel alone) but it's still a very internal process. Sure you've got your editor working with you, but this story is coming entirely from your imagination. What if you're the only one who thinks it's fun? Worthy of spending a day curled up in a chair reading (or months, sitting at the keyboard, writing)? So when a nice review comes in, it's like a little positive affirmation. And that's nice. I mean, who doesn't like a pat on the back?

Comments:
OK, Pat, pat, pat and a verbal hug too. How dull our lives would be without reading books written by you.
Happy Tuesday!!!!

Awwwwww!!!! Thanks for the pats!!!

Hi, It's Michele again. Just wanted to say that I just finished The Cat's Fancy. I didn't realize that I had missed one of yours and its been out awhile!
Anyway, LOVED IT! (of course )*grin* Thought the cat on the cover was smoochable too. It was great to visit with Hoop and Deena again. A thought: the feline character Old Tom reminded me of Old Deuteronomy from Cats. The fact that he has this "power" to grant shifting seems too good of a creative tool to leave alone. Any plans to utilize that wish gifting talent in the future???.

I'm so glad you read it!!! That's my very first single title (second published book) and it has such a warm, fuzzy place in my heart. And, yeah, I do love Old Tom.

Funny you should ask about other appearances. He was originally in Aphrodite's Kiss, or at least the synopsis of it. (Found the original synop recently and remembered that.) The story was too bogged down with extra plot stuff, though, so, alas, Tom ended up on the cutting room floor. No plans to plunk him into something else at the moment, but never say never ...
