On June 24, 1999, six Sigma Rho Betas (and 4 family members) met at Grand Canyon Village, Arizona, on the south rim of Grand Canyon National Park. The next day they hiked down the South Kaibab trail, starting at 6:30 AM and arrived at Phantom Ranch, on the shore of the Colorado River, at noon. The next day most of the group hiked north up Bright Angel Creek to Ribbon Falls. The following day, they hiked up the Bright Angel Trail (on the south rim) and out of the Canyon. A great trip!

The hikers were:
Steve Sample (who brilliantly organized the entire 4 days)
T.L. and Marina Eovaldi, with daughter Mischa
Chuck Kerchner and son Charlie
Kim Richmond
Bob Taylor and daughter Lisa
Larry Schafer
