NEWS 2008 is already looking full of good things. In late February I'll be playing at the new SF Yoshi's with Arturo Sandoval in his Mambo Big Band project. In March I'll be touring wih Boz Scaggs in Japan, where we'll be doing double bills with Toto. Should be fun! I also played on Boz's new jazz record, which is due out soon. I heard some of it already, and it really sounds amazing! You can find me fairly often with the Fred Ross Project up at the Starlight Room. Check out my performance schedule to find out when. Fred is also the lead singer and music director for the Family Stone Xperience. (No Sly, but other original members are in the band.) It looks like I may be joining Fred and the family for some upcoming shows. Congrats to Herbie for the Grammy awards!!!
