DRIVING COURTESY: How do you deal with boaters who barrel down the middle of our narrow roads?
Erik Westerholm replies: Many boaters drive nice trucks and pull nicer boats. They don't like the
thought of collisions, sooooo.... when I encounter a road hog, I place my car FIRMLY
in my lane, but only just, and adopt a big grin and a relaxed hand at the top of
the wheel. Body Language: "Scratch my car, I'll scratch yours". It helps
to have an older rig, and you have to know exactly where the edge of your car is!
