Most of the information in this list was taken from "Jazz In The Movies" by David Meeker (1977 - Talisman Books in London). There are many additional short films that featured The Delta Rhythm Boys and another series with Lucky Millinder. Soundies were three minute films (similar to present day music videos) featuring artists doing one number in a nightclub setting that were produced in large numbers in the 1940s.
